Men's Basketball: Lemanski Steps Down

This week, the Central Region took a hit.  The Men's Basketball coach at Baptist Bible College stepped down.  Joe Lemanski was a good coach who made great progress in his time at BBC.  This past year, BBC had a record of 18-11, including a Central Region Championship and a appearance at Nationals.

Women's Volleyball: Region Previews

As most of you know, we are starting to cover volleyball in 2010.  With this, you can expect to see Region Previews this week.  These will show how special volleyball truly is.  There will always be perennial favorites, but there will always be surprise teams like Trinity College of Florida in 2009.  Volleyball is a great example of how college athletics are irreplaceable.  Stay focused, and see you soon.

Men's Soccer: "Mid" stands for Middle of the Pack.

You will hear a lot about the Midwest Region this year and deservedly so, but I will tell you before it even begins this region will be overrated. Don’t get me wrong; this is the best region in the country from top to almost bottom. (Only if we could knock off Great Lakes) But they have no elite team. I cannot proclaim one team in this region as Title Contenders and maybe you disagree, but click the button to see how I think it will shake out.

Men's Soccer: 2 for the Show

If one is the loneliest number, then two is probably not that far behind. The southwest region use to be a strong region, but since the exodus (Bible word) of schools and the lack of finances at others, only two teams remain, and they are rivals on the pitch. Read more.
